इतिहास आणि कायापालट
१९७५ मध्ये लेफ्टनंट मनोहर वैद्य यांच्या स्मृतिप्रीत्यर्थ मिळालेल्या दातृत्वाच्या देणगीतून या इंडोर बॅडमिंटन हॉलची स्थापना करण्यात आली. काळाच्या ओघात या वास्तूची मोठी दुरवस्था झाली होती. मात्र, संस्थेच्या शतक महोत्सवाचे औचित्य साधून या ऐतिहासिक वास्तूचे नूतनीकरण व आधुनिकीकरण करण्याचा संकल्प सोडण्यात आला.
डॉ. विभावरी दाणी यांच्या परिश्रमांतून आणि भारतीय अंडर-१९ बॅडमिंटन संघाचे प्रशिक्षक श्री. अजय दयाल यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली या हॉलचा संपूर्ण कायापालट करण्यात आला आहे. आज हा हॉल एक अत्यंत देखणा, आधुनिक आणि सर्व सुविधांनी सुसज्ज अशा आंतरराष्ट्रीय दर्जाच्या क्रीडा केंद्राच्या रूपात उभा आहे.

- आधुनिक पायाभूत सुविधा : खेळाडूंच्या सुरक्षिततेची आणि उत्तम कामगिरीची काळजी घेणारे अद्ययावत कोर्ट आणि जागतिक दर्जाच्या पायाभूत सुविधा.

History and Transformation
This indoor badminton hall was established in 1975 through a charitable donation in memory of Lt. Manohar Vaidya. Over time the building had fallen into serious disrepair. On the occasion of the institution's centenary, however, it was resolved to renovate and modernise this historic structure.
Through the efforts of Dr. Vibhawari Dani and under the guidance of Shri Ajay Dayal, coach of the Indian Under-19 badminton team, the hall has been completely transformed. Today it stands as a handsome, modern, fully equipped sports centre of international standard.
