१९७५ च्या आंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला वर्षाचे औचित्य साधून सरस्वती मंदिर संस्थेने सुरू केलेले हे 'कर्मचारी महिला वसतिगृह' हा एक कौतुकास्पद आणि दूरदर्शी उपक्रम आहे.

- सुरक्षितता : नोकरी करणाऱ्या महिलांसाठी घरासारखे सुरक्षित वातावरण देणे ही आजच्या काळातही सर्वात मोठी गरज आहे. इथे निवासी अधीक्षिका आहेत, तसेच निवासी चौकीदारही आहे.
- स्वच्छता : आरोग्याच्या दृष्टीने स्वच्छ आणि प्रसन्न वातावरण मिळणे अत्यंत महत्त्वाचे असते — ते इथले वैशिष्ट्य आहे.

३५ महिलांची सोय असणारे हे वसतिगृह गेल्या अनेक दशकांपासून कार्यरत असून, यातून अनेक पिढ्यांतील नोकरदार महिलांना स्वावलंबी होण्यास नक्कीच मदत झाली आहे.
